Images are outlined with a resist that contains the dye within the image. Then the image is painted by applying Silk dye with Sumi brushes. The background color and texture completes the picture. Each design is a unique, one of a kind piece of Silk art!

Hand painted pictorial Silk--- the creative technique is called Serti--- I start with pure white 100% Silk- the lines that create the image are made using a resist that keeps the dye from bleeding from one area to another.
